How to play Sortations

The sort

• You get a category and five items, for example companies by year founded.
• Drag or tap to rank all five in the direction shown above the cards.
• Solve it in under 60 seconds for speed points. Faster is always better.
• Nail the sort to unlock the bonus round.

The bonus round

In the bonus round the hidden numbers come out. Match each item to its exact value, for example each company to the year it was founded. Every match adds points on top of your sort score.

Scoring and the leaderboard

Correctness always outranks speed, so a better sort beats a faster wrong one. Your result is posted to today's leaderboard under whatever name you choose, and your name is remembered on your device for next time.

When does the puzzle change?

A new puzzle drops daily at midnight ET. Today's leaderboard resets with it.
